Welcome to The Nubian Heritage Quilters web site.. Our theme this year, 2011-2012, "Passport to Creativity- our gateway to innovative techniques to add freshness and sparkle to our projects".
Purpose
The Nubian Heritage Quilters was established to preserve, and document the importance of African American quilting. Serving the community, to encourage and revitalize others in their knowledge of this craft, to give them a sense of their heritage through quilting. While "learning from the past in building for the future" they pass down a legacy that has survived for generations.
